The rain sensor detector can detect raindrops water, so it can be used for detection systems that perform functions required when it begins to rain.
This module consists of a series of printed conductor paths on a Bakelite plate. The separation between tracks is very small. What this module does is create a short circuit whenever the wet tracks. Water causes the creation of a low resistance path between tracks with positive polarity and tracks connected to GND.
It has a specifically integrated circuit LM392 op amp. This is responsible for amplifying the small differential voltage which is generated when a drop of water falls on the track module.
